Welcome to The Pioneer Grant, an opportunity to diversify your opportunities for postgraduate education after medicine. This grant empowers students with the resources and support to explore and succeed in diverse career opportunities beyond traditional medical fields.

The Pioneer Grant has been established in response to the increasing violence against healthcare professionals, making exploring alternative career paths for medical graduates all the more important. Beginning with the MBBS batch of 2019-2020, this grant aims to support and encourage students to pursue postgraduate education abroad or in non-medical fields.

The Pioneer Grant comprises two essential components:

1. Academic and Professional Career Guidance: This component offers mentorship and guidance to students interested in exploring alternative career paths. It connects them with experienced professionals who have successfully pursued non-medical postgraduate programs or education abroad, providing valuable insights and direction.

2. Monetary Assistance: To further support students in pursuing these alternative pathways, the grant provides financial assistance to help offset the associated costs.

Grant Amount(GA): Rs 10,000

Career Guidance(CG): A month-long one-to-one mentorship with a senior established in your field of interest

Grant Winners: One winner for both GA & CG, Five winners for CG.
